4 Ways To Wear A Navy Blazer

Getting the most out of a venerable classic

A double breasted navy blazer with peak lapels is considered the dressiest of the blazer options and should only be worn with a dress shirt, tie and contrasting wool dress trouser.  A single breasted blazer in a two or three button model can also be spruced up with a dress shirt, tie and contrasting dress wool trouser.  Both looks are great for any business occasion.

To slightly dress down a blazer, match with a dressy crew, mock turtleneck or 3-button polo style KNIT shirt and contrasting dress wool trouser.  This is a great option for a casual Friday.

For a more casual impact, combine a single breasted two or three button blazer with an open collared sport shirt or a button down sport shirt and a casual trouser such as a cotton chino, microfiber or corduroy.  A perfect look for church, an evening out, or a Saturday at the office.

The most casual blazer look is achieved by a single breasted model matched with a patterned golfshirt and cotton chino's.  This is an excellent option for a day at the club.
